Leonor Serrano Rivas

Leonor Serrano Rivas (b. 1986) is an artist from Málaga, Spain who received her MFA from Goldsmiths College in 2015. She has recently been nominated for the 2018 Jarman Award and has developed a site-specific performance for Swiss Church, London. Recent exhibitions and performances include Itineraries XXIV, Botin Foundation, Santander (2018); Recurrent Patterns, Sala Santa Inés, Seville (2016); Between the Mouth and the Nose, Chisenhale Studios, London (2016); New Contemporaries 2016, ICA, London; Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool Biennial (2016); Yet The Sky Is Still The Same, Serpentine Galleries, London (2014). Serrano Rivas has been awarded the Botin Foundation International Visual Art Grant, ARCO 2016 Young Artist Award and Tokyo Arts and Space Residency supported by Matadero de Madrid. She is currently developing a new film project commissioned by Ca2M, Madrid.
