Origami Class
7 June 2017 to 8 May 2018, 10–11am V22 Louise House
Origami classes for adults meet on the first Wednesday of every month at Louise House community space to enjoy a fun, relaxing and peaceful time learning origami techniques with Suzuko Wood.
Origami is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. In modern usage the work "origami" is used as an inclusive term for all folding practices, regardless of their culture or origin. The goal is to transform a flat sheet square of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Paper folding has been shown to aid relaxation, concentration, hand eye co-ordination and memory.
