Abracadabra Room
Sunday 30 July 2017, 2–4pm V22 Louise House
The Abracadabra Room is a workshop working with children and artists to create a magical space through art play.
Artists Heena Kim and Talar Aghbashian will lead a group of children to imagine different possibilities of painting with play. In addition to painting, this event will include wrapping, assembling, cutting, taping, rolling and sticking interesting objects. The result of this play will be a colourful and marvellous space with the sense of what you can create through art.
Suitable for ages 5 years and over.
All materials will be provided. Just join us with your creative mind!
Anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Heena Kim is a visual artist working and living in South East London. She has taken part in many group exhibitions with other emerging artists in Europe and Asia, as well as solo exhibitions in Geneva, Glasgow and Seoul since her graduation from Central Saint Martins of Arts with MA in Fine Art. Heena mainly does painting, but is also interested in interactive projects with other artists or the public, continuously exploring new directions of contemporary painting.
