Drawing from Nature
Sunday 5 August 2018, 12–3pm V22 Louise House
Join us outside in the Louise House gardens at V22 to explore sketching from nature. Maybe create your own botanic masterpiece or even have serious fun making a zine about plants.
All ages, skills and abilities are welcome to take part in this free three hour drawing workshop.
Drawing materials will be provided, including a zine making demonstration.
Will you put pencil to paper to observe the beauty of blooming flowers? or maybe picking up charcoal might inspire you to capture the fleeting visit of the bumble bee? alternatively see the comic side of nature by doodling the weird shaped plants with felt tips! Just DIY (Do It Yourself).
We will celebrate the end of the event with an alfresco exhibition of all the pictures and zines made on the day.
Bring the family, or come alone, maybe make new friends.
Anyone under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Drawing People Together is a community drawing group based around Peckham creating cheap and free events that aim to quite literally draw people together.
