Pop Up Story Worlds

Join illustrator Karen Wall as she shares some of the worlds she has created for her own picture books, then create your own unique story play world. Children will make a simple pop up story case and characters using drawing, collaged paper, fabrics and their imagination.
Suitable for children aged 5 years and over.
Anyone under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Karen Wall is an illustrator and designer based in Sydenham. She studied printed textiles and worked as a designer before illustrating her first picture book in 2005. Her books are published by OUP, Egmont and Simon and Schuster and have been read on Cbeebies bedtime hour. She has won both the Sheffield and Dundee Picture book awards.
