Process your Own Food
29 July to 26 August 2016, 3–6pm V22 Louise House
Each Friday, artists Valerie de Ghellinck and Nico Duvinage will be running a 'food craft' event in the Community Studio.
You are invited to create your own processed food, for which, for some people, the manufacturing processes may have been forgotten or perhaps never known. The food will range from guilty pleasures, to informal food and grandmothers old jam recipes.
Whoever wants to can help to build on the larder and the knowledge about old and new techniques in conserving food.
Share, talk, eat and exchange plans for the community kitchen, which is planned for the basement at Louise House in 2017.
Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
