This slow-flow, Yin yoga inspired class would benefit anyone looking to feel more comfortable in their body, sleep better or reduce stress and anxiety. We will stay close to the floor and take our time holding postures for up to 3 minutes, which encourage the body to soften, relax and surrender. Yin yoga is a practice which focusses on connective tissue, which does not stretch or respond to brief stresses as muscle will, so Yin postures are held for a longer time, with the muscles relaxed. The effect of this slow and gentle stretching creates space in the mind and improves flexibility and joint mobility.

Please bring a yoga mat and any blocks or props you might wish to use.

This class is suitable for those new to yoga as well as more experienced practitioners.

Anyone under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. 

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Lizzie is a professional dancer and yoga teacher, developing a specialisation in Yin yoga. Living in a world bombarded by stimuli, she finds the slow practice of Yin an invaluable space in which to slow down and simplify.
