Ludovica Carbotta was born in 1982 in Italy where she lives and works. Carbotta was awarded the Ariane de Rothschild scholarship prize in 2011 and graduated with an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, London and has completed a MFA at Goldsmiths University, London (2015). She was a finalist for the 2016 Premio MAXXI. Her past exhibitions include the Silverstein Annual, Bruce Silverstein Gallery, New York and Public Improvisations at the Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan.
