Benjamin Orlow (b. 1984) is a Finnish-Swedish-Russian artist based in London, UK. He received his MFA from Goldsmiths College in 2012 and has attended residencies at Kunsthalle Roveredo in Switzerland, Startpoint Prize in Prague and PIVO in São Paulo. His work has recently been featured in ICA Artist’s Film Biennial 2016, ICA, London (2016); The Short Cinema Film Festival, Phoenix, Leicester (2016); The Start of Autumn, Hordaland Kunstsenter, Norway (2015); Concerning The Bodyguard, The Tetley, Leeds (2014). Last year, Orlow’s 24-hour military-opera-ballet-film, Horses and Ants premiered at Sinne Gallery in Helsinki, Finland and he completed his first large-scale public sculpture in Jakobstad, Finland.
